Hey again!
This poem is one of my favourites.
I wrote it not so long ago, after looking up the story of Medusa. It Interested me, so i wrote a poem about it, so here it is. I named it 'The Head of Medusa'. I hope you enjoy reading it as much a I enjoyed writing it.
A head cold on the floor,
as panicked scales lay still.
Reflection of a Gorgon queen,
to look to turn to stone.
Behead the sleeping mother,
Pegasus and Chrysaor.
To take Poseidon’s twisted Force,
the moment pain of death.
Her serpents lie in cold demise.
And wicked eyes still burn
in head held high and regnant.
Bring forth Medusas head.
